Kyiv has designated paid parking zones managed through the Kyiv Digital system.
Paid Parking
Central areas have paid parking zones, paid via the Kyiv Digital app or at Soyuzpechat kiosks. Zone-based pricing — most expensive in the city centre.
Residential Parking
Parking in courtyards requires permits. Minimum 10 m from buildings, 5 m from garbage containers.
General Rules
- No parking on sidewalks (unless 2 m+ clearance for pedestrians)
- At least 10 m from intersections and crosswalks
- At least 30 m from bus stops
- At least 5 m from turns
- No parking on tram tracks, bridges, or overpasses
Fines and Enforcement
- Improper parking: 340–510 UAH (2026: stricter rules with higher fines)
- Photo enforcement cameras active throughout the city
- Towing: 2,000+ UAH plus fine if blocking traffic
